JoLene Ann was born to Darrell and Zona Loos in Elwood, Nebraska on December 23, 1949. The family moved to Buhl, Idaho in 1956, where she spent time working at the coal yard with her dad. She graduated from Buhl High School in ‘68, and eloped with Bill Robbins on October 21, 1970. JoLene gave birth to their first son, Corey, on August 10, 1971, and their second, Travis, on January 26, 1973. She spent years working hard on the family farm and later took a job delivering mail in Filer. JoLene loved getting to know the people on her mail route; leaving extra gifts when folks were going through hard times and during the holidays. She spent the last years of her life doing the things she loved; gardening in the warmer months, whipping up yummy baked goods, completing new sewing projects, watching movies, and spreading love and kindness whenever she could. JoLene took her last breath at 5:55 pm in Murray, Utah on February 12, 2026 after a hard recovery following her heart surgery in November. JoLene is survived by her husband of 55 years; Bill, her two sons; Corey (Robyn) and Travis, her granddaughters; Chloe and Baylee, grandsons; Jed and Danny, sister; Connie, brother; Jim, her many nieces and nephews, and everyone else who was lucky enough to be touched by her light. She was preceded in death by her parents; Darrell and Zona, and granddaughter; Kendra. She was an amazing person, wife, mother, sister, Nana, friend, and neighbor. To say she will be missed is a great understatement. To honor her, we ask that you commit intentional acts of love, kindness, and generosity in her name.
Her memorial will be March 9, 2026 at Clover Lutheran Church (3552 N 1825 E Buhl, Id 83316) at 1pm
The family requests that all attendees wear bright colors, and asks anyone that has photos of her to send them to [email protected]
