Julie Ann Beal Clark, our cherished mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at home in her sleep on December 16, 2016, after a two year battle with ALS. Julie was born on June 22, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Barbara Beal and Ben D. Beal. She had three younger sisters and one brother: Carolyn, Dianne, Suzanne, and Bennie.
Julie's family was always her first priority. In 1971, she married her soulmate, Robert Leon Clark. They were best friends and the greatest parents to their three children, Christina, Matthew, and Anne. Julie also loved her sons in law, Mike and Mikey, with all her heart, and absolutely adored her grandson, Robert, and her baby granddaughter, Clara.
Julie was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was kind and generous to people, as well as animals. She selflessly cared for several colonies of feral cats for many years.
Julie was hardworking, creative, smart and resourceful. Nothing was too difficult when she set her mind to it. She loved art and collecting antiques. Some favorites were pictures, frames and vintage salt & pepper shakers. She loved history and could talk about it for hours at a time. She was always reading, learning and sharing interesting facts.
Julie graduated from Westminster College in 1983 with a degree in teaching but spent most of her years as the Vice President of Clark's Minerals.
Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clark, and her father, Ben D. Beal. She is survived by her son, Matthew, daughters Christina and Anne, sons in law, Mike and Mikey, grandchildren Robert
and Clara, and her mother, brother and sisters.
