Kent was born in Midvale, Utah to Richard Homer Higham and Audrey Fae Fox Higham, he had 1 brother Gary and 3 sisters Patricia, Marsha and Jeannette. Kent graduated from Jordan High School were he excelled in academics and sports, lettering in baseball.
Kent had over 40 years of service with the Rio Grande, Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads where he wore about every hat they had from switching to being the boss. Kent married Susan D. Leiter with whom he had 4 children, Theresa, Kent L., Kent F. Jr.(Michele), Sean(Bonnie). He then found his true love Kristine(Tootsie) they met in 1992 and were married July 15th, 1994 to present. Kristine brought 2 children into the family, Jennifer(Matt) McKeithen and Thomas Brockbank. Kent enjoyed bowling, softball, tennis, golf and life itself! Kent has 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren with 2 on the way and 1 great great grandchild. Private services to be held.
