

Louise passed away May 29, 2015 of causes incident to old age. She was born in Salt Lake City on June 26, 1918, the first of three children born to Ira Free Kimball and Luella Lloyd. She graduated from Granite High School and in 1941 married George Glen Hobson. They had two children. Following Glen’s death, Louise married Bill Maurice Clark, a widower with four small children. Louise and Bill had three, completing a blended family of nine children. Her family was the joy of her life.
A temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple for more than twenty years, Louise also served a mission in the Washington D.C. temple, and in her local LDS wards as Relief Society president, Cub Scout leader, and Primary teacher. A great-granddaughter of Heber C. Kimball, Louise also enjoyed participating in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Preceeded in death by brothers Wayne and Lloyd, husbands Glen (1952) and Bill (1994); sons Kim (1973) and Richard (Kathy, div., Janet) Clark (2003); and stepdaughter DeAnna Clark (Terry) Powers (1997). She is survived by children Susan Hobson (Scott) Kenney, Kris Clark (Mike) Rice, and Joe (Denny) Clark; stepchildren Jim (Annette) Clark, Bob (Jan) Clark, MaryLou (John) Gardner; twenty-eight grandchildren, ninety-four great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 4, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 and one hour prior to the service.
