Lyle Stout

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away June 22, 2012 in Draper, Utah. Lyle was born March 12, 1929 to Abraham L. and Nettie Earl Stout. He married his lifelong companion, LeNay Shafter on May 19, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Lyle was devoted to his family; he was generous with his time and talent. Lyle loved to travel and was always ready for a new adventure whether it was a drive to Logan or a trip to China. His children, grandchildren and extended family have many happy memories of shared vacations. Lyle served in the Korean war and worked for EIMCO for 44 years. After his retirement he served in the Jordan River Temple and Family History Library.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, LeNay children Laurie (Douglas) Berrett, Sharman (Tom) Cossentine, Tena (Duane) Straughn, Timothy (Margrit) Stout, and Erin (Shawn) Carlyle; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Arlene Ellingson; Linda (Reg) Terry; RaNae (James) Arveseth; and Norma (Dwight) Atkinson. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; infant son Paul Reed; brothers DeMar (June) and Carol (Art) Jueshke.
