

She was born February 27, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George LaVar Christensen and Murel Jackson.
Marion was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the friends she made in the church. She was a dedicated member of the gospel and served in many callings. She served a faithful mission to England with her husband, Arthur Moore, and later served at the Family History Library in Arizona. In England, she learned to knit and loved making afghans that she shared with her children and grandchildren.
Marion loved her family, especially when they came to visit her. She was an L.R.N. and was passionate about what she did.
She is survived by her children; Jackie Larsen, Bobbi and Byon Norris, Cari Peterson and Jeff Warburton, Richard and Sunny Peterson, Bonnie and Don McCaulley, and her son in law Howard Kocher. She leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is her daughters Peggy Kocher and Penny Peterson, her two husbands Lee Dalebout and Arthur Moore, as well as her parents and all of her siblings.
An evening viewing for Marion will be held Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT 84106. A visitation will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT 84106. A graveside service will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Dr, Millcreek, UT 84106.
