Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Mary Jane Rollo Galli, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. She was born January 10, 1928 and lived to be 94 amazing years old. She was active and vibrant until her last few days on earth. She is the daughter of Norman Lester Rollo and Emma Jane Allen Rollo Lewis.
Our mom loved to serve. She was an amazing cook, beautiful seamstress, wonderful shopper, and a completely devoted wife and mother. For several years she worked at Dan’s Foods where everyone loved her. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and for many years served in Family History callings as Family History was one of her greatest joys. She used her outstanding research skills to locate many of our kindred dead and assist in providing temple blessings for them. Much of her service was at the Marion Family History Center near their home in Woodland, Utah. She was an avid indexer for FamilySearch and indexed over 350,000 names. We contemplate the great reunion now taking place in heaven with so many.
Mary Jane leaves two daughters, Sheri Wells (Dan) and Shauna Lasater (Mike), along with a son, Sky Jay Leonard Galli. She leaves 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, a son in law, Don Vatsend and a sister in law, Karen Galli Noel. She will be greatly missed.
Mary Jane is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jay, daughter, Susan Kay Galli Vatsend, grandson, John Christian Lasater, parents, and sisters Ruth Malm and Donna Sanns.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the graveside service for a viewing at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
