Myrna Jones, born to Ernie and Margo Gibson on March 30, 1946, was known for her determination, kindness, generosity, and intelligence from a young age. She lived a vibrant life filled with creativity, steadfast faith, and a deep love for her family and friends.
Myrna’s life was profoundly changed when she was born again. Her Christian faith was her moral compass, guiding her actions throughout life. She found solace and strength in her relationship with the Lord, and her faith was evident in her kindness, compassion, and unwavering belief in the power of love.
Myrna’s artistic spirit shone brightest in her stained-glass creations. She possessed a remarkable talent for transforming ordinary glass into breathtaking works of art, capturing light and color in intricate designs. Each piece was a testament to her unique vision and meticulous craftsmanship, reflecting her inner light and bringing joy to those who beheld them.
She was a proud patriot, deeply devoted to America. While living in Texas, Myrna volunteered with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, educating the public on water safety and assisting in many search and rescue missions. Despite her fear of water and inability to swim, she was actively involved in ensuring the safety of others.
Later in life, Myrna excelled in a sales position with Nebo Tools, where her warm personality and genuine enthusiasm made her a great success.
Myrna was a devoted wife to Leon Jones, sharing a lifetime of cherished memories. She was a loving mother to Stacy (Raisin) Sosnowski, Trina (Clay) Williams, and Brock (Amy) Jones and held a special place in her heart for her beloved Stacy’s dog, Raisin, who was a constant source of comfort, mischief, and companionship. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Margaret Gibson, sister Linda Norred, and her daughter Stacy Sosnowski.
Myrna leaves behind a legacy of beautiful art, cherished memories, and a profound love that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by: Her husband, Leon Jones, daughter Trina (Clay) Williams, son Brock (Amy) Jones, 13 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and one on the way.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
