

Born on March 31, 1949 in South Salt Lake, Utah, Nancy was the third child born to Max Walter Sailer and Mary Esther Fillmore Sailer. Karren Joan Sailer Burr who passed away in six years ago was her older sister. Ronald Lee Sailer was her older brother who lived only two days. Her younger sister is Susan Jane Sailer Brusik.
Nancy's family lived in the same home in South Salt Lake her entire childhood. She attended Roosevelt Elementary School, Granite Park Junior High School and Granite High School. After graduating high school, Nancy attended the University of Utah. While working at the University of Utah Eccles Health Sciences Library in various capacities; Nancy graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology along with a Certificate in Criminology and Corrections on the seventh day of May 1999.
Nancy was introduced to her husband Jed Eldon Dymock through a mutual friend while they were both employees working at the ZCMI Department Store. Nancy and Jed were married on May 23, 1974 by Charles A Jones Justice of Peace, a known family friend. They were later sealed for time and for eternity on September 5, 1991 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They celebrated 52 wonderful years of marriage.
Nancy and her husband found they had much in common; being faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, love for music, reading books, golfing and both Nancy and Jed worked at and retired from the University of Utah. Go Utes!
Since childhood Nancy was known for her love of photography; taking pictures of family, friends and places she traveled. She documented friendships through her photographs. Nancy was known as a favorite aunt who captured all family events on camera. She and Jed spent countless hours traveling through Utah's National Parks photographing scenic views and wildlife.
Nancy missed her husband Jed immensely, her caregiver for over twenty years who passed away suddenly on July 18, 2025. Nancy demonstrated patience, kindness and good humor to all those who assisted in her care. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Susan and Raymond Brusik and several nieces and nephews and their spouse. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy's family would like to thank all those who loved and cared for her throughout the years from those at Aspen Senior Care, Legacy House of South Jordan and Sequoia Hospice. Nancy was truly loved by all who cared for her.
A visitation will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT 84106, US, on June 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm.
Interment will take place on June 3, 2026, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT 84106, US.
