

Naomi Lee Keener Buehner Feigal passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, surrounded by family. She leaves behind a legacy, cherished by all who knew her. Naomi was born on August 27, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Naomi May Ross Keener and Wilford Lee Keener. She was the eldest daughter of 9 children.
Naomi was a woman of many passions and celebrations. At Christmas, she would be busy making candy. Her pecan rolls had no peer. She profoundly loved music, starting with a beautiful singing voice, and enjoying community duets with her sister MaryAnn. As she grew older, her tastes evolved to include opera and symphony music, to which she gave much support.
She graduated from East High in 1958. Naomi traveled extensively, exploring the world's wonders, and experiencing its beauty firsthand. She worked at Valley Bank as a loan officer for 20+ years. Naomi married Timothy Fred Buehner on December 2, 1961. The couple had three children together. They later divorced. Timothy passed away on April 19, 2009. Naomi married David William Feigal on August 12, 1995. He passed away October 31, 1998. Naomi's son, Timothy Scott Buehner, preceded her in death on March 2, 2009, a loss she carried deeply throughout her life.
As a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Naomi served in many callings, including over 20 years of service in the Salt Lake City Temple. She has a great testimony of the gospel and a strong love for her Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
She loved people, always surrounded by dear friends. She had a gift for style and elegance. Naomi’s sense of humor and gift of light-hearted banter brought a smile to anyone within earshot. Her characteristic kindness, sweet nature, and unwavering support enriched her family. Her children and loved ones were blessed by her listening ear, voice of reason, and selfless help. Naomi is remembered as a loving soul, bringing joy and light to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her brothers: Robert Keener and Donald Keener; sister: Georgia Campbell; daughter: Christine Buehner (Thomas) Nielson; son: Curtis Ross (Dionne) Buehner, and 13 grandchildren: Nina (Scott) Knudsen, Katherine Tait, Kamille Nielson, Elizabeth (Michael) Farrell, Madeline (Jeff) Collier, Abigail (Anthony) Wilson, Myles (Kaytlyn) Buehner, Gavin (Kate) Buehner, Olivia Buehner, Emily (Cameron) Bobo, Brett (Vanessa) Buehner, Brooke (Josh) Draper, and Breanna (Calum) Stout, as well as 18 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Wilford J. Keener and Theodore Keener; sisters: MaryAnn Graham, Lorraine Campbell, and Georgene Taylor; and son: Timothy Scott Buehner.
A viewing will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary (3401 S. Highland Drive) on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm. There will be a graveside service to follow. In lieu of flowers- a donation can be made to the Pioneer Memorial Theatre, The Chamber Music Society of Utah or The Metropolitan Opera of Utah, in memory of Naomi Feigal.
