We think about Norma so often.  Especially last summer when we are out in the back yard a lot and can see the back of her home and the  yard.  We had so many good memories with her.  When  we first moved over here with Jesse's dad,  she was my visiting teaching partner and that lasted for many years.  How lucky we are to to have known her and Harold over the years.  She will be missed by many for years to come

I am fortunate to have been friends with Norma for several years.  When we first moved to this home in about 2009, Norma and I were assigned to be visiting teaching partners.  We faithfully visited four sisters and became friends with each other and with these sisters.  When Harold became sick, she had to stop going out so much.  My husband and I visited with them and  Jess helped Harold in many ways.  After Harold passed away, she became my partner again.  She was so faithful in anything she said or did and I love her and the things she taught me and the sisters in our ward.

For a time I was Gail Smith’s ministering companion, and was blessed to have Norma as one of the sisters we visited. 
Her face always lit up when she saw us at the door, and her wonderful smile could light up a room.
She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and loved to share their good deeds and accomplishments. 
I saw her last right before Christmas, and those beautiful blue eyes seemed to dance when she opened the door.
I will truly miss her genuine spirit, and her testimony of the gospel. 
I am always sad when someone from the ward passes, but I cried for her. Not only because I was sad, but also with joy, because she was where she wanted to be, with her beloved husband.
My condolences to her loving family, and my gratitude to the savior for letting her be a part of my life, if only for a short while.
I will miss you,Norma.


Norma is a treasured friend.  She was dedicated in her church service and caring in her neighborhood associations.  She and Harold attended the special Sunday School Class taught by my husband Don.  We are so happy that Norma and Harold are together again.  Norma is greatly missed.

God bless all her family with comfort and peace, knowing she is in a beautiful place, and at a deserved rest.  We love you all.

I visited Norma every first Tuesday of each month without fail.  She was a joy to visit  as she related interesting aspects of her life growing up, working and raising her family. She had a sharp mind and quick wit She loved to read and to crochet beautiful afghans., to garden and to cook.  She loved her family.  I've learned so much about life and enduring its ups and downs from this lovely lady. I think it's fitting that I will keep our appointment on Tuesday February 1st !  May her family feel joy as they lay her to rest knowing that they can be together again in the worlds to come.

Norma was such a gracious lady! We shared wonderful lunches and visits. Looking forward to future times!

Norma is survived by her two sons Johnny (Carolynn) and Larry (Danice). Grandchildren, Travis (Nicole) Keith (Christie) Kayleen (Steve) Chad, Alyssa (David) Katherine (Michael) Spencer (Jeanette) and Great Grandchildren. Her sweet Sister Bonnie.
