

In spite of her struggle with a variety of health challenges, she often expressed that she was happy and grateful.
Pat was born in Santa Monica, CA on October 6, 1942. She grew up in Beaumont, CA. The family eventually moved back to Salt Lake City where she attended Granger High School. In 1959, she met and married Robert H. May and together they had three children.
She enjoyed going to the beach, raising, training and showing bulldogs and loved camping and boating. Her kids fondly remember the years the family managed Defa’s Dude Ranch in the Uintas. Pat was a skilled crafter and enjoyed making and selling her creations at local craft fairs. She worked many years in finance and banking including Del Amo Savings, Prestige Financial and she retired from Larry Miller Group in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Pat is preceded in death by her father, Gethen Davis, her mother, Gwen Crabtree Davis, her husband, Les Hansen and her daughter, Melody Mitchell.
She is survived by her brother, Mike Davis (Peggy) of Mona, UT, her daughter, Colleen Cook (Roger) of Alpine, WY, and her son, Shaun May (Jeanne) of Mineola, TX. She has six grandchildren, Craig and Chris Cook, Robert and Jeremy May, Miranda Goodman and Jesse Mitchell, and 8 great grandchildren: Skyler & Hylee Cook, Baylee, Hadley & Dax Goodman, Boston & Axel Cook and Kaylee May.
A graveside service and interment will be held at Wasatch Meadows in Millcreek, Utah at a later date.
Her family would like to thank all those who knew her and loved her and those who have provided kindness, comfort, and support during this time.
