Pauline Stewart Simpson, the daughter of Paul and Ethel Stewart was born November 27, 1924 in Alamo, Nevada and passed away November 25, 2021 in St. George Utah. She grew up in Alamo and would share her fond memories of her grandparents, siblings, and various relatives. After graduation from high school, she moved to Seattle to be with her sisters Maxine and Lila where she met Eugene (Gene) Simpson, a navy corpsman. They were married March 3, 1945.
After WWII Gene and Pauline lived in Salt Lake and raised their family Stewart, Douglas, and Jolene. Over the years with work and dedication to her husband and family, she lived in Burbank, Las Vegas, and St. George.
Pauline was dedicated to her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a fabulous cook, enjoyed crocheting, and tennis. Most of all she loved and adored her 11 grandchildren, leaving each with a lifetime of cherished memories.
Pauline is survived by Rebecca Simpson (daughter-in-law), Nancy Simpson (daughter-in-law), Jolene and Allen England (daughter and son-in-law), 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, her sister Ethel, and sister-in-law Lorie.
She was preceded in death by husband Eugene, sons Stewart and Douglas, brothers Gene and Leo, and sisters Maxine and Lila.
Thank you to all the miracle angels who so devotedly and lovingly took care of Pauline-- Shawna her hospice nurse, Pamela her hospice chaplain, and Amy, Janet, Toni, Michelle, Corinne, and Claudia at Beehive Homes who all became her friends.
