Polly Ann Peckham was born on April 8,1955 to Barbara Bowman Peckham and Vance Peckham. She died on May 6, 2022 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Polly attended Wasatch Academy where she made lifelong friends, and graduated from the University of Utah in 1978. She worked in several fields but for the last 35 years she was a talented supply procurement specialist for a laser company and a prosthetic device manufacturer.
Polly loved hiking, golf, bowling, sunbathing and, in the last 5 years, took up stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking at her beloved family cabin on Hebgen Lake in Montana.
Polly was bold, courageous, and exquisitely sensitive to other’s feelings. She had a huge personality, always spoke her truth and never minced words. She was a dynamic force who deeply touched everyone she met.
Our family expresses appreciation to Utah Cancer Specialists, CNS Home Health and Hospice, and BrightStar Home Care for their excellent care.
Polly is survived by her sister Adrienne (Dale) Alward, niece Erin (Orlando) Echeverria, her cousins, Thomas Conrad Bowman of Yosemite, CA, Steven Conrad Bowman, of Netarts, OR, Jane Bowman Lininger of Portland, OR and her many friends. She will truly be missed by us all.
