

Rashad attended Cub Run Elementary School in Centreville, VA, Rocky Run Middle School and Chantilly High School in Chantilly, VA, where he graduated in 1996. He later continued his education at Louisburg College in North Carolina. A gifted and passionate athlete, Rashad carried a lifelong love for soccer. His dedication to the sport led him to London and Holland, where he played semi-professionally. He was also a member of the Olympic Development Program, reflecting his talent, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
Beyond athletics, Rashad had a love for the arts in all forms. He appreciated creativity and was drawn to expression, beauty and originality, which reflected his own vibrant and colorful spirit.
Rashad was known for his larger-than-life presence. He had a way of filling any room he entered, marked by his booming laugh, big smile, and an energy that drew people to him. His warmth, confidence, and joy were felt immediately and will be deeply missed.
In May 2025, Rashad married Elizabeth Robinson in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was built on love, companionship, and laughter.
He will be remembered not only for his athletic ability and commitment, but for the light and kindness he brought into the lives of others. Rashad's energy, smile and spirit leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of those who love him.
Rashad is survived by his wife, Liz, and parents, Wallace and Patricia.
