1941 ~ 2011
Robert Ford, loving husband and father, “my best friend went home today.” A genuine man, he created three businesses and was a general contractor. You had to be careful because if you asked him to move a rock, he would move the mountain for you. He fought a short and courageous battle with cancer. He will be missed by all family and friends. He enjoyed working with his hands and in particular wood working.
He is survived by his beloved wife Donna R. Ford; their six children, Rory L. Mecham (ReNae), Barbara Hodson, Carl R. Ford, Tracy L. Ford (Pauline), Robin Miller (Ray), Jacki R. Ford (Tony); fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Alice Ford and his son Michael.
The family will receive friends April 21, 2011 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Graveside services will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 1:30pm. Condolences to www.wasatchlawn.com
