Rochelle Gallenson Bohn,“Rocky”, “Roche”, “Rochketuchus”, “Momma”, “Nani”, 71, of West Jordan, Utah left this world peacefully in the evening on Valentine’s day, February 14, 2024, at home surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from Highland High School, and attended the University of Utah. At age 19, she moved to Chicago where she met the love of her life, Mark Bohn. After having children she and her family moved back to Salt Lake.
Rochelle was a proud Jewish woman. She was sweet, kind, compassionate, creative, meticulous, loved to make people laugh, and always had a way of making everyone feel special. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe as well as her little pups Honey Bear and Teddy. Her lifelong passions included tennis, golf, photography, food/cooking, shopping, movies/tv series, music, Barbara Streisand, and the Green Bay Packers.
Rochelle had a long successful career in office administration and loved everyone she worked with at McCullough-Jones Land Company.

Rochelle is survived by her loving children; Son, Jason Bohn (Jamie); Daughters, Heather (Jason Sandos) and Kimberly (Shane Gowans); Grandchildren, Jaeden, Teagan (Sophee), Cameron, Braxton, Payton, Clay, Aleyah, Sylver, Gage, and expected Great Grandchild, Isla Jo; Sister, Sandra Lee Satterthwaite (Craig); Nieces, Stephanie Coleman, Marni and Devan Wahlquist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Leona Gomoll Gallenson (mother) and Marvin Gallenson (father); Sister, Cheryl Gallenson; Nephew, Ryan Mednick.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 1pm at the Montefiore Cemetery, R Street and 4th Avenue in Salt Lake City, Utah.
