She was born in Blackfoot, Idaho, 12/19/24 to George W. Olsen and Lilli Viola Hansen Olsen.
It could always be said of Rosie that "she did it her way". She was an independent gal with a sense of style and a love of fun. She enjoyed fine clothes, good food, close friends, and travel. Her keen sense of humor could brighten a cloudy day. She worked for many years at Arthur Frank, a fine gentlemen's clothing store in SLC where she was loved by coworkers and customers alike. Two of her most beloved traits were her sense of justice and her great generosity.
She will be missed by all those her knew her but most especially by her two remaining daughters, Becky Baldwin, and Ellen Cayce and their families, her beloved brother, Alvin Olsen, her long time neighbors and friends, Mark and Lynda Simmons, and her devoted companion of many years, Teddy Rubie. Rose was predeceased by her eldest daughter, Diane Vogt. We know that her beloved husband Fred L. (Bud) Coleman is once again happy to have her at his side.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will take place this Saturday August 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, consider passing on a random act of kindness in Rose's honor.
