

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Ruth Elaine Hale, age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
She was born July 5, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Helen and Clifford Bruce Harker. She married her life long sweetheart, Robert Lloyd Hale, in the Salt Lake Temple, May 2, 1951.
Ruth was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Ruth's powerful work ethic, her gracious and generous treatment of family and friends, her unending service to others, her drive to do good and her love of life and beautiful things is an enduring example of the joy of womanhood which she embraced.
Ruth is survived by children Cynthia Hale, Jordan (Linda) Hale, ten grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her brother Brent (Allene) Harker. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Stacey (Roger) Haglund, and her son Bruce (Kerri) Hale. Ruth leaves her family and friends with many precious memories and rich blessings.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Kanab 4th Ward, 20 W. Center Street. Friends may call Thursday, 9:45 a.m. at the Church, or at the Mosdell Mortuary, 676 S. Highway 89A, Kanab, UT, 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21st. Interment will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, in Salt Lake, on Saturday, October 24th, at 11:00 a.m. -
