Soang is survived by her husband Quan, daughter Jennifer (Elliot), son Richard, two grandchildren, brothers Thanh (Kim) and Cuong (Yen), and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Manh. Soang will be remembered for being an exceptionally generous, kind, and selfless individual who always put others before herself. She was immensely dedicated to her family and deeply cherished everyone close to her- often ensuring everyone was well cared for before focusing on herself.
Soang grew up in Tap Son, Vietnam and became a primary school teacher after completing her education. After leaving Vietnam, Soang made her way to the United States and spent time in Oklahoma before reuniting with family in Canada. There, she married her husband Quan and had a daughter (Jennifer) and son (Richard) who were eventually raised in the United States. Soang enjoyed music, writing, gardening, and helping others.
Soang will be remembered by anyone that knew her as a remarkably kind and giving person. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to cross paths with her.
