Stephan Richard Breckenridge, born August 18, 1952 in Tucson, Arizona to Henry T. Breckenridge and Darlene H. Fife. Steve passed away Wednesday October 5, 2022, after a short battle with cancer, in the Jordan Valley Hospital, West Jordan Campus.
The family would like to thank the nurses, Doctors and staff for the loving and kind care given to Steve.
Steve was raised in Tucson, Arizona and Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Tucson High School in 1970.
Steve joined the Army and served 4 years active duty, 21 months of that in Germany. During that time he developed the habit of polishing his boots every night. A custom he carried the rest of his life.
He married Ilene Wood on January 21, 1976, they had one son, Shawn.
Steve is survived by his son Shawn (Caitlin). Two sisters Judy and Collene (Murray), and brother Bob (Olga).
Steve is preceded in death by his wife Ilene, his parents, brothers Tony and Tim.
There will be a family viewing from 9:30 am until 10:00 am.
A public viewing will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Wednesday October 12th, 2022
There will be a memorial service Tuesday October 18, 2022 at Utah Veterans Cemetery, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale Utah
