1958 - 2021
Todd was born on October 8, 1958, and passed away in his parents' home on November 12, 2021 after a heroic battle with cancer.
Todd grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Skyline High School, class of 1977. He was greatly admired by his friends for his fun and adventurous personality. Todd was an intelligent and free-spirited individual who lived life to the fullest, under his own rules. Always stepping up to help others, Todd had a big heart. He was a long-time resident of Spring Creek, Nevada, and worked as a switchman for the Western Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads for 42 years. Renovating antique cars and motorcycles was Todd's passion, and he won many awards at various car shows. A genius mechanical engineer, Todd's artistic mind was second to none.
Todd is survived by his parents Gerald and Frances Turville, his sister Troy (Richard) Young, his brother John (Rebecca) Turville, and his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many. A funeral will be held Saturday, November 27 at 11 a.m., at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Chapel located at 3401 S Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, UT. There will be a graveside service afterward. A celebration of life will also be held December 5, at 2PM at the VFW Building located at 731 VFW Dr., Elko, Nevada.
