Victoria passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep to join her Prince Charming so that he could be with his sweetheart. She was born June 30, 1947 in Hurricane, West Virginia to Benny and Ruby Davis. She graduated from Hurricane High School.
Victoria married John Longstroth Richards on August 30, 1982 in the Washington D.C. Temple. And they had 5 children, Valerie (Dave) Stanton, Nicole Williams, Celeste (Luke) Ratto, Joshua McDonald, and Gabriel McDonald, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings Janet (James) Fuller and Sarah (Dee) Cresap.
Vicki loved singing, she had the most beautiful angelic voice. She dreamed one day of joining The Mormon Tabernacle Choir. For years she was her ward's chorister.
She had an appetite for knowledge and when not fully immersed in her reading, she would spend hours writing down her many deep thoughts of what she had learned. She had hoped to publish her biography one day.
Another favorite was her weekly work in the temple. She felt being there brought her closer to her husband John and her Heavenly Father.
Mom, we love you dearly and you will be missed!
She was preceded in death by her husband John L. Richards and siblings Bunny Dunaway, Frank Davis, Judy Foster, and Lewis Davis.
Services for Victoria will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive on Monday March 4, 2019 at 2:00PM. (There will be no viewing.)
