Agnes leaves behind her beloved children: James Cummings, Thomas Cummings (Karen Tracy), and Karen Serva (Robert). She was the proud grandmother of Kelly, Casey, Thomas, Emily, Abigail, Bridget, and Caroline, and the adored great-grandmother of Wesley and Jack.
Agnes grew up alongside her cherished siblings—Billy (predeceased Janet, present Pat) Mary Rapuzzi (Frank), Harry (predeceased Grace), Jeanne Wing (Frank), and the late Anne Marie. Agnes was the eldest of her siblings, although if you asked her, she would insist she was the youngest.
Agnes lit up every room she entered—like a bright, beautiful light, even if she was often a few hours late. She was unapologetically herself, and everyone loved her for it.
Grounded in her Catholic upbringing, Agnes had a deep and abiding faith in God, which guided her throughout her life. She taught her children what mattered most: people, love, and time spent together. Agnes also had a lifelong love of music, believing it could express every emotion words could not. She passed this passion on to her children, ensuring that music became a constant part of their lives.
Agnes was fun—she loved to dance, to travel, to attend parties, and to be surrounded by people. Just as much, she enjoyed quiet evenings at the kitchen table with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Above all, she cherished her family, whom she often called her greatest accomplishment. She took immense pride not only in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, but also in her many nieces and nephews.
Agnes loved people, and she loved to laugh. Her joy, warmth, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the Cummings family asks that donations be made to Angela's House in Agnes's name.
