Billie B. Briggs, 85 of Ridge New York passed peacefully away on April 22, 2016. Billie was mother to Suzanne Gladding (Kevin Meyer) and William Gladding (Linda). Grandmother to Alex Gladding (Briana) , and her greatest joy becoming GIGI to Cooper.
Billie was also an Aunt to Denise Ritner of North Carolina, and Christina Chalkley of Florida and the late Regina Blanz.
Billie was also a Great Aunt to Bethany New , Andrew Woods, Timothy Woods and Marie Woods.
Billie was a Great Great Aunt to Benjamin and Hamilton New and Andrew, Ethan and Margaret Woods.
Billie was also survived by her beloved dogs Pumpkin and Penny.
Billie was the former Personnel Director for the Shoreham Wading River School District for 20 years. Billie continued to be very active with her local senior citizen group and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Save A Pet in Port Jefferson Station, anyone knowing Billie knows about her tremendous love for animals.
Billie was special to so many people and her smile and humor will be certainly missed.
