Donato Rocillo, age 81, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Keith. Donato leaves behind his cherished family: his son Scott; his brother Dennis and sister-in-law Nancy; and his dear nieces and nephews, Christopher Rocillo, Dawn Rocillo, Lenny Rocillo, Lisa, and Frank Simon.
A proud veteran, Donato served in the United States Navy for three years, demonstrating his dedication and love for his country. Following his service, he built a long and successful career as an electrician with Grumman Aerospace, where he worked for 30 years and earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Donato's zest for life extended beyond his professional achievements. He was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in skiing, bicycling, hiking, and kayaking. His love for skiing and biking led him to join a group called the Skidaddlers, where he formed lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.
Donato Rocillo will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his country, and his passions. His legacy of hard work, adventure, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.
