Doris Edna Gallagher

Doris Edna Gallagher, age 101, of Ridge, New York and formerly of Broad Channel and Woodhaven, Queens and Cutchogue, Long Island, New York, passed away on August 26, 2022. Doris was born February 10, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Harry and Margaret Segerdell.

Beloved wife of the late Michael Gallagher. Loving mother of Kathleen Stueber (Richard), Barbara Pennacchia (Ettore), and Patricia Nielsen (Paul). Adoring grandmother of Kristine Faragasso (Jeff), Richard Stueber (Stacie), Brian Pennacchia (Norine), Michael Pennacchia, Karyn Pennacchia, Michelle Zahra (Paul), Eric Nielsen (Kara), Allison Nielsen, and Christopher Nielsen. Proud great grandmother of Richard Stueber III, Robert Stueber, Kyra Faragasso, Delanie Stueber, Lily Pennacchia, Siena Faragasso, Ryan Stueber, Addison Zahra, Abigail Cooper, Charlotte Zahra, Emma Cooper, Zanna Nielsen, Teagan Nielsen, and Ava Pennacchia. Cherished sister of the late Harry Segerdell and Audrey Berkimsher.

A visitation for Doris will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764. Funeral mass, Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Randall Rd, Shoreham, New York 11786. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
