To Tony's family my sincerest condolences.  I worked with Tony for a few years and he was always such a nice and friendly person.  I'm very sorry for your loss.

I will always remember meeting Uncle Tony on my first trip to Long Island at the engagement party for me and Susan.  I was quite nervous, but he helped make me feel like part of the family right away.  I thank him for that.  My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Kerry, April, Christian, Roberta, Aunt Kitty, Jay, Susan, Barb, and the rest of the family.  Rest in Peace, Uncle Tony, you will be greatly missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I never had the honor of meeting Tony but through Stephen, I have heard a lot about him and feel as if I knew him. He touched a lot of lives and I know that he will be missed by many. You are all in my thoughts and Prayers. RIP Tony.... ~laura~

I am very sorry for your loss.  Your Dad was one of my 1st  contacts  when I started my recovery.  There were many barbecues, & socializing with all of you, and some very good times. I cannot believe that it is almost 14 years ago that I first met him & Linda.  There was the old gang that we used to hang out with- Mike, Harry, Charlie,  myself, Linda, your Dad, and we all had something in common-  I am deeply sorry for his passing, and my prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time.  May he rest in peace. God Bless!!!

UT (uncle tony), I'm having a real hard time saying goodbye to a man that took a fatherless boy under his wing & taught him to fish, fight, & took him to his first ballgame. You slapped my face with your aftershave & drove me to my first date. Later taught me the ethics of work & I became the man I am because of you. When I was little & had bad asthma attacks, it was you in the er running me up & down the hallways in a wheelchair just to make me laugh at 3am when you had to work at 7. An uncle doesn't do these things, only a father does. So I'm not saying goodbye to my uncle, I'm saying goodbye to my father. RIP U.T., I love you & most of all, I thank you.

We were babies when we met and learned about life and love together....

Not only were you my Uncle , you were my friend, but most of all you were my brother!where ever I go in this world you will be with me in my heart and my precious memories of a great man. Dad it somehow doesn't feel fair that I am signing the guest book for your obituary. But like you've said, life isn't always fair. I'm trying so hard to not be sad, but to be grateful that you are at peace. Gone now are your struggles and your worries. You are now, exactly where you need to be. I am so very grateful to have learned, lived and loved through you and through the valuable lessons you have taught me. I am so grateful you had the opportunity to do things in life, you've always wanted to. And I am so very grateful for the grandfather you are to my children. I get to keep you with me, not just in spirit, but in my children, forever. From Patrick's insatiable love of learning and reading and always wanting to know more. To Abigail's musical interests, playing guitar and saxophone and being the handful of a child I know I was to you! My children hold you in their hearts with such love and happiness, as do I and Jason. Its kind of amazing how through my children, I can see history repeating itself. Just a few weeks ago Abigail decided that it wasn't fair that we celebrate Father's day and Mother's day, but there is no kids day! Sound familiar? My response was simple, your words, your response to me when I approached you with the very same argument..."Every day is kids day" It's little things like that, that show me what family is all about. That lets me know that we will all always be together. 
In my heart I know that you are with Nanny and Pappy and Uncle Bobby, Uncle Neil and Uncle Jack. You've got the best seat in the house for Yankees games, and I can only imagine how much better Bruce sounds when you're listening from Heaven!

You have done more good for us than you will ever know. I want to share with you, and all who read this, some of my favorite memories of our time together. I know these memories will bring a smile to your face.

-The backyard clam bakes-you dug a big hole, tossed in a bunch of seafood and let it bake. We'd spend the afternoon covered in melted butter and garlic.
-You reading to us by candlelight each night during Hurricane Gloria. 
-Fishing at Woodhull Landing and Cedar beaches. 
-Crabbing at Smith's Point. 
-Playing basketball in the backyard (sorry Barbara and Susie)
-Celebrating the 4th with our own fireworks (nanny got upset because it scared the dogs)
-Playing penny poker at the kitchen table. 
-Eating steamer clams all night long!
-You walking me down the aisle and our father/daughter dance at my wedding. 
Those are just a few of my favorites but there are many more. 

I'm comforted by how you welcomed and loved my husband from the very start. You used to say to my boyfriends, "if you respect my daughter as much as I do, we shouldn't have a problem." You never said that to Mike while we were dating though because I think you knew right away that he was special. You hugged him and told him you loved him just as much as you did me. I want you to know that he loves you too. 

Please know that Kevin Christean loves you and will benefit greatly from all that you have taught me about life. He will know all about how you laughed and smiled when you heard him in the background over the phone and every time I gave you an update on what's he been up to. 

You are truly one of a kind dad. You've touched so many lives in very special ways. I hope you rest in peace knowing that you've made a big impact during your time here.
