Born to a family filled with love and laughter, Gayle embraced life with grace, resilience, and an ever-present sense of humor. She dedicated her professional career to data entry at Grumman, mastering punch cards long before the digital age, and her personal life to raising five extraordinary children.
Gayle leaves behind a loving legacy in her children, Catherine (Edward) Korf, Alan Cazaurang, Robert Cazaurang, James Cazaurang, and Linda Cazaurang (Christopher Sinclair). Her grandchildren—Joseph, Kyle, Ryan, and Dylan—carry forward her wit and warmth, while her great-grandchild Lucas brought her immeasurable joy.
A cherished sister, Gayle is survived by her siblings Scott, Marilyn, Jeanne, and Dolores. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews: Eric, Jason, Todd, Katie, Beth, Debbie, Lynn, Michael, Tony, John, Susie, Linda, Timmy, Barbara, JJ, Cindy, and Patti. Her loyal and loving pet Penny held a special place in her heart.
Gayle was known for her love of penny slots at the casino, her infectious laughter, and her world-famous oatmeal chocolate chip cookies—beloved by all who had the privilege of tasting them. Often imitated but never duplicated, her cookies embodied the love she poured into everything she did.
Above all, Gayle cherished her family, filling their lives with warmth, kindness, and countless memories. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love knew no bounds.
Rest in peace, Gayle. You will forever be in our hearts.
