George B. Schramm, Jr., beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the age of 90. George is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Patricia Schramm, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories, including their cherished vacation in Hawaii. He was a proud and loving father to his children, George B. Schramm III and Karen Becker.
A dedicated and accomplished project architect, George found great joy and purpose in his work. Beyond his profession, he had a deep commitment to his community, serving as a volunteer firefighter in the Bethpage Fire Department for many years. He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering integrity, and his lifelong dedication to helping others.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764. Interment will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY 11590.
