

Lena leaves behind her devoted husband, Peter, with whom she shared 9 sweet years together. She is now reunited with her beloved daughter, Katherine Pace, her cherished grandson, Dane Svendsen, her nephew Andrew and her son-in-law, Jon Svendsen, who passed before her.
Her memory will be forever treasured by her daughter, Lori Svendsen, and her grandchildren: Jessica Pace, Ashley Shull, and Zachary Svendsen. Lena was a proud and loving great-grandmother to Alyssa Williams, Elijah Williams, Brenna Shull, and Lilly Shull. She is also survived by her siblings, Tommy Venza, Roseann Rosario, and Cathy Paciullo, along with her nieces and nephews: Melissa, Joey, Lisa, Michael, and Annette.
Lena enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Travel Coordinator for HydroQual Environmental Consulting Firm. Her passion for travel and love of history shaped much of her life, as did her gift for writing poetry, cooking, and dancing. Known as an excellent chef, Lena’s Easter bread and fig cookies became family traditions, remembered with warmth and joy. She had a special gift for organizing, whether it was for work, her volunteer efforts, or simply for fun.
Deeply dedicated to her community, Lena proudly volunteered as the president of the Longwood Library “Friends of the Library” for 11 years. She also gave her time generously to many organizations, including the American Legion Auxiliary, and was an active member of the Leisure Knoll Community where she resided.
Lena’s life was marked by her generosity, creativity, and zest for living. She will be remembered for her kindness, her talents, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
