Patricia Bruecher "Grammy"

Patricia Christine Bruecher "Grammy" (nee Spillett), 89, of Wading River, formerly of Yaphank, where a part of her heart always remained, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Peter B. Bruecher. Devoted mother of Janice P. Baisley (Brian). Adored Grammy of Deanna Lilimpakis, Michael Baisley (Lindsay), Jessica Baisley (Robyn), and the late Matthew Baisley. Cherished Great-Grammy of Alexandra Lilimpakis, Andreus Lilimpakis, Lyle Baisley, and Brooke Baisley. Dear sister of Shirley Spillett. Predeceased by her parents, Leroy M. Spillett, Sr. and Christine Hoeffner Spillett, and her siblings, Leroy M. Spillett, Jr., John Spillett, and Charles "Doc" Spillett. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, as well as the community of Shoreham-Wading River where she was affectionately known as Grammy to all. Grammy will be forever loved and deeply missed by every life that she touched with her love, her strength, her dedication to her grandchildren, her spunk, as well as her no-nonsense approach and hilarious sense of humor that was a bright light to more people than she could have ever realized. Family will receive friends at O.B. Davis Funeral Home, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, Sunday, February 19, 2023, 3 pm-8 pm. Funeral service 10 am Monday, February 20, 2023, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Kent Animal Shelter, 2259 River Road, Calverton, NY 11933.
