Tom was always good natured, always a gentleman, and at times a bit mischievous.  When I remember him I always see a smile on his face.  He was a fierce competitor, and at the same time always full of good humor.  He was a great storyteller, and I will always remember his stories and his smile.  His jokes never failed to bring  a smile to my face, even when they were at my expense.  He loved his family and was a great and caring friend.  It is my honor to have known him and to call him my friend.  Tom, you will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing you.

Tom we will miss you.
20 plus years ago our daughters became friends, then the Moms and low and behold the Dads became good friends. Many years together many good times many laughs.
Tom fooled us many times while battling his leukemia. Many times we thought "Oh this is it"....and he bounced back. I remember him lying in a hospital bed looking like hell but cracking jokes.
"Always do the right thing and you cant go wrong" is one of the things I remember most from our last conversation.  Words to live by. He was a good man.
I will make a conscious effort to donate blood and platelets in his memory. Thanks to those who donated he got to be with us a lot  longer.

It is very lucky when you have the chance to form a strong bond of friendship in middle age. Tom and I did just that. Whether we were playing golf, out to the movies or dinner with our wives, watching the Mets play the Yankees or just sitting on a bench eating pastries and watching the boats in Port Jeff, Tom and I enjoyed each other's company. He was a fantastic story teller, had a dry wit and was a great listener. Short story... I handled my elderly father's finances and they were a mess. Tom got me organized, accompanied me to the IRS and rectified the situation. Wouldn't take a dime. We did celebrate at Teller's Steak House but that is a story for another time.

It must be close to 50 years that I have had the pleasure of knowing Tom.  The Peat Marwick experiences, our kids being born, Tom's 
(5 year plan - a private joke), your calls to Officer Krumpkee and your joking: "Kathye is that guy ever home? Guess I'll have to talk to you!!   And, boy did we talk!  Not only were our talks funny,  they were hysterical.  Something to miss forever.  I'm so glad we got to talk to you a few weeks ago.  Without actually saying it, I knew the message you tried to convey. Everyone who knows you will miss you terribly.  You are at peace now, and I pray for Dee, your entire family and all the people who loved and laughed with you.  Love You - Kathye

What an honor and privilege to get to know Tom! Always with a smile, head held high, no matter how he felt. I will miss seeing you but I know in my heart you fought the good fight and are in a better place.  You touched my heart with your kindness.  I wish we had met under better circumstances...but glad I had the opportunity to meet someone with your strength.  Watch over your beautiful wife and family! Missing dear cousin Tom.
Never wanted to write that. If ever there was a truly decent person, it was Tom. A loving husband and proud father who never failed to relate each of his children's accomplishments. Trustworthy in business toward his clients. Grateful patient to his medical team. A quiet observer of the world around us that inevitably turned into humor. I cherish our long conversations and admire his bravery. I'm so grateful for that last phone call and for making me laugh one last time.

Words cannot express the loss that I feel with my dad being gone.  I could not have asked for a better father in my life.  He was always there for me and he always put his family before anything else.  He was a great man.

I  will always remember Tom and smile! That is what he did for so many, make them  smile and laugh. He had a sense of humor like no other.  And he stayed so strong through his whole illness. I even got to enjoy dancing with him last Christmas!!! He will be greatly missed but hopefully we can get comfort knowing he is at peace .  Last time I spoke with him, I told him "I love you man" and he said "back at ya girl"  with a chuckle in his voice.

Tom was my accountant, client and most importantly my friend for over thirty years.  It was quintessential  Tom that he called me a few days before he died to tell me that he had referred someone to me he met at the infusion center.  He then told me he was at the end and he comforted me and that he was ok with it.  He was a kind, compassionate human being and I will miss him.  My love to his family.   He talked about you all the time.

It was a pleasure to take care of you when I worked at the infusion center.  You had a wonderful sense of humor and were quick to acknowledge that the spelling of my last name was the correct way to spell it!!!
Denise, your love for each other was palpable.  I know how much he will be missed.  So sorry for your loss...What a fighter!!!

Missing you my husband....hoping you are enjoying all the things your illness stole from you like a strong cup of coffee, a juicy steak and a competitive golf match! I love you and my heart is broken forever.  You live within all of us!!
