Embraced once more by her father James and her sister Andrea that passed before.
Vanessa leaves behind her beautiful family, her beloved mother Barbara Sottile. Her loving siblings Barbara and James. Along with my aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her secret fur baby Jamesy.
Vanessa was an educator for the Huntington School District, which brought her so much joy. Vanessa was an avid reader, lover of films, music and artists who made it.
Those who were lucky enough to know her, knew Vanessa as a selfless individual who would spend meaningful time with anyone in need. She was always ready to be someone’s support and happy to listen. Most of all that will be remembered is when she laughed it was infectious and lit up the entire room.
Vanessa will be deeply missed.
A visitation for Vanessa will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A burial will occur Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Washington Memorial Park, 855 Canal Rd, Mt. Sinai, New York 11766.
