Billy is survived by his devoted mother, Bernadette; his sister, Michelle, and her husband, Michael; as well as his cherished nephew, Ryan, and niece, Katelin. He was preceded in death by his father, William.
Billy loved his family and was eager to help around the house and in the yard where he could often be seen playing ball or blowing bubbles with his niece and nephew, Ryan and Katie and his sister Michelle.
He was always ready for a walk at cedar Beach with mom and his sister. A creature of habit, this was always followed up with a bacon cheeseburger and french fries at his favorite restaurant.
Billy was well known in the community and was often recognized during these walks or when he went out to eat with his family. No one was a stranger to Billy, and he would say "hi" " how are you doing?* to absolutely everyone. He had an infectious laugh and found humor in almost everything.
Billy was a part of the Maryhaven community for over 50 years. While there, he participated in boy scouts, the performing arts center, and Special Olympics. Maryhaven became his second family and he was loved by all.
