Barbara Jean Hackett

She was a caring wife and mother. She had one son Robert, and she was his provider, his counselor and his advocate for 61 years. She also loved cooking and baking for her family.

Born and raised in Columbia Heights she held various bookkeeping jobs. She was a very detailed and organized person in all aspects of her life. She lived in Minnetonka for nearly 40 years. Her garden and flowers were her pride and joy.

Preceded in death by parents Natale and Mary Re, brother Steve, and sister. Survived by husband Jerry of 51 years, son Robert, first cousin Dan (Linda) Petrella, niece Margaret Steele, many nieces and nephews and special friend Pam Olson Richards.
