Curtis Sonnenfeld, 89 years of age, went home to be with the LORD on December 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jacob and Martha Sonnenfeld; Sisters, Mariam, Alice and LaVaughan; Brothers, Arthur, Albert, Allan and infant brother, Orville; Son-in-Law, Kevin.
Survived by his loving Wife of 66 years, Verdell; Children, Marcia (John), Randy (Liz), Luanne, Shelley (Dan), Jodi (Kip), and Jaci (Bob); Grandchildren, Michael, Stephanie, Ryan, Taylor, Joey, Rochelle, Zac, Danny, Alyssa, Micaela, Carter, Max, Maree, Allison and Jackson; 10 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Jim.
Curtis will be remembered for his integrity, generosity, and love for people, and especially family. He enjoyed being a part of his children and grandchildren’s activities and most of all loved the LORD Jesus Christ and passed that love on to his children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Curtis will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church of Wayzata on Wednesday, December 22nd. Visitation will begin at 10am with the Service at 11am.
Memorials will be directed to Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge as well as Wayzata Redeemer Christian Academy.
