Dianne Williams

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 her children were at her side. Born in Minneapolis, MN Jan. 19, 1929, she was preceded in death by her son Gary M., parents Dwight V. & Emery B. Swanson , sister Judy and companion Al Bundy. A graduate of Washburn High School 1947 class. Her love of the Arts lasted her entire life. Her strong faith and outgoing personality will be missed by everyone who knew her well. Dianne lived life fully, leaving plenty of time for travel, dancing and talk to close friends and family. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Colleagues of Calligraphy, SAT (Edina) and the Hay Creek Group. She is survived by sons, Glenn, Scott (Sue), James and Richard; daughters, Kathleen (Gary) Whelpley and Teresa; grandchildren, Melanie and Christine Whelpley, Lynn (Daniel) Goodeill, Geoffrey (Heathe) Discher, Gregory (Jenny) Discher, Derek and Zachary Williams; great- grandchildren, Taylor, Lindsey, Colton and Addison; sister, Linda (Gary) Markham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Visitation to be held Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at Cremation Society of MN Edina from 5-7 pm. Private interment Sunset Cemetery.
