Preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. “Dick” Peterson; brothers, Clarence, Roy and Ken Elert; sister, Lois Vesely.
Survived by her son, Gary (Jackie); daughter, Sandy (John) Spradley; grandchildren, Dave (Theresa), Anna (Aaron) LaPacz, Eric; great-grandchildren, Emily, Sofia, Piper, James; sister, Luverne Atkins; brother, Ronald Elert.
Dorothy married Richard in June of 1949. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in St. Paul. Dorothy was proud of her work at the Roseville Library System.
Funeral service 11:00 am Friday, August 24, 2018 at Sunset Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home (2250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE., MPLS.) visitation 10am until the time of service.
Private family interment Sunset Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Gillette Children’s Hospital, St Paul or Fairview Hospice, who have given our family wonderful care and support at this time.
