Jay Emmett Hartman

Jay was a dedicated 43-year employee of the St. Anthony Village Public Works Department, who loved his job and gladly jumped out of bed every day to go to work. Jay was loved by many for his sense of humor, loyalty and willingness to always help a friend in need.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Hartman, along with many aunts and uncles. Jay is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Ann, brother Bob (Tammy), sisters Maureen (John) Mady, Patti (Scott) Pray, father-in-law Gary (Kitty) Johnson, mother-in-law, Roseanne (Jeff) Green, sisters-in-law Jane Johnson, Mary Johnson and brother-in-law Mike Johnson, along with nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Animal Humane Society of Minnesota. Due to the current pandemic, a private memorial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
