age 59, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Laurie was born in Minneapolis, MN to Gust and Beverly.
In 1973, Laurie graduated high school from West High in South Minneapolis. Laurie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She devoted her life to her family.
Survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John Breckenitch Sr.; children, Deanne (Shane) Johnson, John Jr. (Angela) Breckenitch, James Breckenitch, and Lynn (Josh) Israelson; grandchildren, Kyle and Mackenzie Israelson; mother, Beverly; brother, Rick (Marylyn) Leaf; sister, Lynn (Gary) Tollberg; 7 nieces and nephews as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday, April 17 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral service Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior ALL at Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
