Passed Away Peacefully May 10, 2013 encircled with love of his family.
Preceded in death by father, Gerhardt (Jerry), mother Olive (Hanson) and brother LaVerne Neumann. Survived by wife of 53 years Judith Ann (Mital); children James, Jon (Lynda) and Christine (Steven); grandchildren Ryan, Sara, Emily, Tina (Shawn) and Katelyn; sister Lorraine Gustafson (nephews Steven, Larry) and "Bonus " son Gary Jensen; many treasured and loving relatives and friends.
He was in the fire protection business for 60+ years, owner of Fire Watch, Inc. and retired from Nardini Fire Protection. He enjoyed family, friends, hunting, bowling, fishing and travels. Richard suffered a long and difficult battle with Myloefibrosis. We thank Dr. C. Edward Vaurio/ Dr. A. Tefferi/ Mayo Clinic and Dr. David King/ MN Oncology for all their help, support and caring.
Service is Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 at 11:00AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 7th St. NW, New Brighton, MN. Visitation is two hours before the service with luncheon to follow. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials, if so desired, to the family.
