Robert “Bob” M. Hale, 63, of Minneapolis, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He went peacefully into the arms of Jesus at home while being held by his wife and son.
Preceded in death by parents Robert Otto and Vera Mae. Survived by wife and best friend Ronda; daughter, Lauren (James) Randall; son, Joseph Hale; grandsons, Forrest and Asher Randall; sister, Kathy (Mark) Rode; and mother and father in-law, Sandra and Ron.
Bob was a son, brother, father, husband, grandpa, friend, and a loving cat dad. Waiting patiently for him in Heaven are his cats Tilly, Belle, Lucy, and Maxine.
Bob was a graphic designer graduating from St. Paul VoTech in 1979. He met his wife Ronda while working at McDonalds in 1976. He loved his grandsons, game shows, his cats, exploring new restaurants with his wife, going on errands with his son, talking history with his daughter, being a handyman for the home, and collecting matchstick books. He lived his life for Christ, and although he is so deeply missed, his family is glad he is with his Creator. His children are proud of their dad and love the road he paved for them. They will always remember the fireflies in the field at Gettysburg and think of their dad every time they see a firefly. His grandsons will grow up knowing that his endless love always and forever surrounds them and that “gramps” is protecting them from above. Their gramps will continue to live on through them.
“Love me tender, love me true, all my dreams fulfill. For my darling, I love you, and I always will.” – Elvis Presley
