Shirley Renee Blue

Shirley was a Special Education Paraeducator fo rMinneapolis Public Schools for over 20 years. Shirley's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved music and dancing. With a heart of gold she gave to others in any she could.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie and Hawthorn Vinson, Sr.; brothers, Johnnie L. Walton, Sr., Willie Blue and Henry Blue Sr.; sister, Ernestine Walton-Brailsford; son, Quincy Blue, Sr..

Survivors include her daughter Shalema (Teena) Francois-Blue; son, Ramone (Inga) Blue, Sr.; sister, Hattie (Mark) Schley; brothers, Jimmie Walton, Hawthorne (Robbin) Vinson, Terry L. Vinson, Nathaniel (Leslie) Vinson,Sr.; grandchildren, Samone Blue, Ramone Blue, Jr., Gavin,Blue, Yara Blue, Quincy Blue, Jr., Harlem Blue, Nyle Francois-Blue and Neena Francois-Blue and a host of aunts, uncles,cousins, nieces, nephews and many extended relatives and friends

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 5:00 PM with visitation starting at 4:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis 55418.
