Todd C. Hoffstrom

Hoffstrom, Todd C. age 56 of St. Anthony and a lifelong resident of Northeast Minneapolis, died on October 16, 2014.

Preceded in death by his son, Ted Hoffstrom; sister, Pat Hoffstrom; brother, Randy Hoffstrom; parents, Karl and Jeanne Hoffstrom; and father and mother-in-law, Earl and Donna Matter.

Survived by loving wife of 31 years, Leeann; sons, Dustin and Daniel; granddaughter, Olivia; sister, Nancy (Marsh) Edelstein; brothers, Scott (Lavonne) and Jeff (Patricia); and many other relatives and dear friends.

Todd went to St. Anne’s Grade School and was a 1976 DeLaSalle graduate. Todd was D’s quarterback in high school and remained a D and a St. Anthony loyal football fan. Todd was very involved with the St. Anthony Sports Boosters and coached his sons in baseball and football. Todd loved sports, music, movies, reading, traveling and a good game of cribbage.

He didn’t mind the cat, two dogs, and didn’t complain when Leeann fed the family of squirrels, birds, bunnies, and other wildlife in the yard. He loved spending time with friends and family. Todd was a loving husband, dad and brother and the most loyal and trusting friend you could have ever been blessed to meet. Todd loved his family most of all. Todd touched many lives and he will be forever loved and never forgotten.

No words can express how grateful we are to all of you for your love and support and not giving up. Todd once was lost and now is found and home with Teddy.

Mass of Christian Burial 1:00 PM Friday, October 24, 2014 at St. Clement’s Catholic Church, 911 24th Avenue NE at Jackson St, Minneapolis. Visitation Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM with a time of sharing at 6:30 PM at Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home, 230 13th Avenue NE, Minneapolis with an additional visitation at the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family.
