Born December 25, 1938 to Allen and Esther Madison, he was the first-born of five children including Johnny (Hollie), Mike (Cindy), Mitch (Jeri) and Patty (Steve).
On February 10, 1958 Wayne married Myrna Jane Buhl. As loving life-partners they enjoyed 67 years together. They had two children: Wendy and Scott. Wayne was preceded in death by both his parents, his wife and his son. Wayne has two grandchildren: Nicholas (Nick) and Theresa. His first great-grandchild is expected to arrive in late November 2023. He loved his family deeply and was very proud of them. Wayne leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and business associates.
Wayne will be greatly missed and never forgotten for his kindness and gentle spirit. He was always on the go. He requested no funeral. Interment will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial in Minneapolis, MN.
A gathering for remembrance is scheduled for Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Parmly Lakeview Apartments, 10600 282nd St. Chisago City, MN 55013.
