He was born on April 6th, 1941 in Steinbach, Manitoba.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by children Carol (Marlin), Debbie (Bud), Bruce (Carrie), 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Sister Grace (Harry), brothers Jim (Judith), Dave (Lily), and Henry (Terrie).
He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Mary Schellenberg and brother in law Harry Schmit.
When Bob was 16 he worked at the Steinbach sewing factory, later on he worked for Loewen Auto Wrecking. He owned Townline Shell Service Station from 1967 to 1971. When he moved from B.C. back to Steinbach in the early 80’s, he worked at Loewen Electric. He was baptized in 1961 and joined the Steinbach CMC Church at that time.
