James Francis Davis

JD passed away peacefully on September 7, 2017 at The Residence In Mission, B.C He is lovingly remembered by his longtime special friend Marianne, son Shawn (Sarah), daughters Coralee (Kelly) and Lanaya (Rob), sister Cathy (Alex). brother Bart (Cheryl), grandchildren Cailin, Angelina, Lucas, Avery, Jaxon and Connor, nieces Erin, Kristin and Justine. JD is predeceased by his mother Eila, step father Graham and brother Peter. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at TRIM on the Cedar Wing, for looking after our JD. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Hall in Mission BC 33336 2nd Avenue on Saturday September 23, 2017 at 1:00pm.

ODE TO A BIKER

"Live to ride, ride to live", we speak these words with pride. The open road is calling and we cannot resist the ride. We're all aware of the peril that may be waiting over the next hill, but that's the risk we're willing to take, so ride we will. Only a biker can understand the kind of feeling it can be, to have the wind in your face, to ride, to just be free. But now we have lost someone that's dear, still the memories we will cherish and will always have him near. Yes, we will mourn our loss and tears we will shed and think of all the words that we wish we had said. We will often ask ourselves and wonder for many a day, why this wonderful man had to die at such an early age. Now only time can heal the pain that we feel, but forever in our hearts, he will remain with us still. Just remember as these agonizing times pass by, we will see him again in that Harley Heaven in the sky. "What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Thank you for the memories JD...we will cherish them forever.
