Janice passed away at home in Mission with her husband at her side on February 18, 2010. Janice was predeceased by her mother and father, Marie and Herman Gossen; brothers Allan (Amanda), Henry (Frances) and Louis; her sister Mildred Magnusson and brother-in-laws, Elmer Hadaller and Menno Berg. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Bill; her sons, Lance (Lisa) & Bryce (Joane); granddaughters, Lori Ann, Jaclyn and Kelsey; her sister Mabel (Art) Dirks, Doris Hadaller and Alice Berg; sister-in-laws, Luverna Gossen; aunt Sarah Driedger; stepbrother Elmer (Ann) Guenther; stepmother Mary Geisbrecht; stepsister-in-law Doris Guenther; many treasured nieces, nephews and a special friend.
Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission. A Funeral Service will be held at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with internment to follow at Hatzic Cemetery.
