Jennifer Elizabeth Woolley (nee Sens) beloved wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 8th after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Jen was born in Vancouver March 17, 1977, raised in Maple Ridge and graduated from UBC with her teaching degree in 2000. She taught in Maple Ridge and Mission school districts and was involved in many community projects.
Jen loved all forms of dancing from Scottish Country to Hip Hop. She was also quite athletic and enjoyed softball, curling, ultimate frisbee, soccer and skiing. She enjoyed gardening. Jen thrived on social relationships and sought out connections with people and groups within the community.
Jen is survived by her husband Ben, children Owen, Hannah and Keith, her parents Ron and Elizabeth Sens, her brother David (Tiegan), her in-laws Marvin and Iris Woolley, brother-in-law Tim (Renee) and sister-in-law Kate. She also leaves behind a large extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 10am at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church 32860 Cherry Avenue, Mission ,B.C. Dress code is come-as-you-are casual.
